Somehow I have managed to stay married for 1 year today!! Yay! Who knew? Well, I could've lived without the dramatics, but whatever works, I guess. Spending my relaxing anniversary weekend at the emergency room is not what I consider relaxing! Back to the old grindstone tomorrow, but at least for today I can play hookey!! Now that husband's finally asleep, I can sit around and do nothing for the rest of the day. (I'm not sure I know how to do nothing, though... Hmmm.. learning experience maybe?)

Just another day in the life...

Damn Murphy and all his stupid laws!


Tomorrow (Monday) is my first wedding anniversary and what have I spent my (supposedly relaxing) weekend doing? Traveling all day Saturday to go to a birthday party for a 7-year old (one that was outside in 100 degree heat, no less) and then today at the emergency room with my husband. Irony truly sucks. I'm starting to wonder if some higher power has it in for me. (Conspiracy theory, maybe?) Our honeymoon was sabotaged with cedar & both of which I am highly allergic to) and the first anniversary with negative interactions to medication. Should I be taking a hint? feathers (
